1.舞蹈研究與學術研討

舉辦學術研討會、研究論壇與方法論討論，推動亞洲舞蹈與跨文化舞蹈研究的理論建構與學術合作。

2.學術出版與知識傳播

推動舞蹈研究成果的整理與出版，探索中英文雙語寫作與國際學術傳播機制。

3.傳統舞蹈田野營與實踐研究

組織亞洲地區的傳統舞蹈田野調查與實踐營，強調具身體驗、文化紀錄與學術分析的結合。

亞洲舞蹈研究與實踐協會（Asian Dance Research and Practice Association, ADRPA）是一個以亞洲舞蹈研究與舞蹈實踐為核心、面向國際交流的獨立非營利學術與實踐組織。協會由多位具有海外學術訓練背景的中國博士後與博士學者於 2024 年 共同發起成立，致力於在舞蹈研究、藝術實踐與文化交流之間建立長期、穩定且具行動力的合作平台。協會成員來自舞蹈學、藝術學、人類學、文化研究、教育學等相關領域，並逐步吸納來自 馬來西亞、印尼、印度、韓國、泰國 等國家與地區的學者、教育者與藝術實踐者參與，形成以亞洲為立足點、具備國際對話能力的學術與實踐網絡。

組織理念與定位

ADRPA 以 「研究・實踐・交流」 為基本理念，強調舞蹈作為一種兼具知識生產、身體經驗與文化行動的綜合性實踐。協會關注舞蹈在不同社會、歷史與文化脈絡中的多重意義，並致力於將舞蹈置於更廣闊的文化、教育與社會框架中加以理解與推進。

協會的核心定位包括：

聚焦 亞洲傳統舞蹈及其當代表達

推動 跨學科、跨文化、跨區域 的研究與實踐合作

建構 學術研究與舞蹈實踐並行發展 的工作機制

面向學界、教育界、藝術實踐領域及公共文化空間持續開展行動

國際交流與網絡參與

在保持組織獨立運作的前提下，ADRPA 積極參與國際舞蹈研究與舞蹈教育相關的交流網絡。2025 年，協會作為集體成員參與國際舞蹈委員會（CID）的全球舞蹈網絡，並列入其公開發布的 Global Dance Directory；同年，協會加入國際兒童與青年舞蹈協會（dAci），參與面向兒童與青少年舞蹈教育的國際對話與合作。

這些國際連結為協會提供跨區域交流的渠道，但 ADRPA 始終堅持 自主策劃議題、自主組織項目、自主推動研究與實踐，並以亞洲經驗與在地實踐為出發點，發展具有自身定位的學術與實踐路徑。

Asian Dance Research and Practice Association (ADRPA)is an independent, non-profit academic and practice-oriented organization dedicated to dance research and dance practice in Asia, with an international outlook.

Founded in 2024 by a group of Chinese postdoctoral researchers and PhD scholars with overseas academic training, ADRPA aims to establish a long-term and sustainable platform that connects dance research, artistic practice, and cultural exchange. Its members come from diverse disciplines, including Dance Studies, Art Studies, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, and Education, and the association actively involves scholars, educators, and artists from Malaysia, Indonesia, India, South Korea, Thailand, and other regions. Together, they form a network grounded in Asian perspectives while engaging in international dialogue.

Vision and Positioning

ADRPA is guided by the principle of “Research, Practice, and Exchange.”

The association approaches dance as a comprehensive cultural practice encompassing knowledge production, embodied experience, and social action. Rather than treating dance solely as performance or a single academic discipline, ADRPA situates dance within broader cultural, educational, and social contexts.

The association’s core positioning includes:

A focus on Asian traditional dance and its contemporary expressions

Promotion of interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, and cross-regional collaboration

Integration of academic research and dance practice

Ongoing engagement with academia, education, artistic practice, and public culture

International Engagement

While maintaining its organizational independence, ADRPA actively participates in international networks related to dance research and dance education. In 2025, the association joined the global dance network of the International Dance Council (CID) as a collective member and was listed in its Global Dance Directory. In the same year, ADRPA became a member of Dance and the Child International (dAci), contributing to international dialogue on dance education for children and young people.

These international connections provide channels for exchange and collaboration; however, ADRPA remains committed to independently shaping its agendas, organizing its projects, and advancing research and practice rooted in Asian experiences and local contexts.
